I’m a resident of Encinitas, California with Lucy, my wife of twenty six years. I am an artist and writer and am currently editing an anthology, “The Adventures of El Pinche Reynoso,” a series of satirical short stories.

        I am the author and illustrator of Gorilla Ballroom, Gorilla Riverdance, Gorilla Football, and Gorilla Latin Dance, a collection of short parodies. I’m also editing my screenplays “Cookies and a Nine Millimeter” and “The Cloud.” Marine Vietnam vet, (two tours, ‘67-’69) I’m also writing my combat memoirs.

       I have worked as an archeologist, a car salesman, a graphic designer, and as a safety administrator for a commercial printer. I studied graphic design and painting at The Coronado School of Fine Art, creative writing and anthropology at San Diego State University, and am a member of Ransom Note Productions, a San Diego writer’s workshop. I read for DimeStories and was the third place winner of the Winning Writers Wergle Flomp poetry contest in 2007.

        I am active now with kidXpress, a non-profit writing, reading and arts mentoring group located in Oceanside, CA. I have studied acting with Monty Silverstone.
